About LonCon - LonCon

LonCon is an annual camping music festival curated by the Long Island Jam/Funk trio, Baked Shrimp. The festival went into creation following the sudden passing of one Baked Shrimp’s most honorable supporters and ambassador, Lon “Conscious” Gellman. Lon was a person of love, positive vibrations, and kindness, who’s legacy deserves to be kept alive by his favorite thing of all, live music. A portion of all LonCon ticket sales will be donated to the Lon Conscious Memorial Scholarship Fund, a scholarship for students in financial need at the Aaron Copeland School of Music at Queens College.

LonCon’s inaugural festival took place in August of 2021 at Arrowhead Ranch in Parksville, NY, the site of many legendary concerts in the 90’s. The inaugural lineup included artists such as Mihali (Twiddle), Aqueous, members of Dopapod, Kung Fu, and more.

LonCon is a place to let go for a weekend, enjoy three nights of camping in the mountains of Upstate New York, and simply focus on peace, love, and live music.
